A participant can invite you to act on their behalf — for exactly what they choose, for as long as they choose. Not a shared login. Not blanket access. A scoped, dated authority they can see and revoke at any time.
What you can be granted
- View the Support Passport
- Edit the Support Passport
- Create a support request
- Search and shortlist providers
- Send a referral
- Message providers on the participant's behalf
- Manage consent settings
- View referral status across their caseload
A participant chooses which of these to grant — never all of them by default. Some actions, like exporting or deleting personal data, can never be delegated to anyone, no matter the scope.
The participant stays in control
The invitation comes from them, not from you. Once you accept, every action you take is recorded under your name and visible to them, and they can revoke your authority at any time, effective immediately.
